PESMENBEN IV was a grindnoise-punk duo from Ambato-Ecuador (February 7th 1997) created by Carlos Jaramillo (Kaloy) on guitar/vocals and Francisco Castellanos (Pipo) on drums/vocals.

The band released these tapes during the 1998-2000 era, most of the times co -edited and distributed by the great international underground escene.

During our late teen years we were meeting noisers, punks and metalheads through zines, bands and labels all over the world (note there was no internet as we know it in those times in this part of the world).

We really like to dedicate this to the entire underground DIY people, specially to friends, bands, zines and labels who made all these possible back in the late 90´s. We wanna salute to Cafeterasub, Eskape del Matadero, Hirax Max (Spazz), Cadaverizer Records, Rexistencia Records, Genital Masticator, Agathocles, Distorsión Social, PTAO, Enrique López (Ciclo Estudio), Despise You, M.D.M., and so many many more people in Japan, Canada, France, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Peru, Colombia, Brasil, Venezuela, USA, Mexico.

Special thanx to Steff NBP Prodz. to make the double cassette in France. Means a lot for us.
